On June 18, William Green patented acres in Amelia Co, Virginia. The property was bounded by Deep Creek, the Appomattox River and Horsepen Branch. Later the same year he was granted 1, acres on the south side of the Appomattox River bordering on Wicomoco (Wintercomake) Creek.

- Provision is made for widow, Amey Green, and the following named children: Thomas, Martha, Amey, Filmer and William. There was also provision made for "the child unborn". William Green's will included the following provisions. acres plantation and horsepen between Green's Rd and Appomatox River.
To son Thomas 52 acres I now live on, to son William 1, acres, to son Filmer one slave, to daughter Martha, 2 slaves to daughter Amey.

I'm wondering if there is conflation here. thus I wouldn't want to merge away Green and lose the other possible William Green.
